Injector part number

Afternoon guys !

Looking for a correct part number for euro 4 injectors. Confused with all the different numbers. Really had a shed full now and want to get the lemon running as she should. This cloud of white diesel smoke on start up until the needle moves is embarrassing/annoying now. Plus mr coqwomble 2 doors down keeps making remarks about how his japcrap shogun is so much better. Big Cry

Please help.

Thanks all Thumbs Up
 Jarrod

Hi Daz,

Thankyou for that. Given me an idea. I wonder how much Siemens would charge to refurbish them. Most places I’ve spoken to have said the euro4 injectors can’t be repaired as the electronic heads are not available Big Cry

Driving me nuts. Big Cry

Having a read of ur other post ref trying 2 comokete sets and number 1 not changing I noticed the revs on the live data readings at different revs

Are there any inbuilt filters into each pipe in the high pressure fuel pump that goes to each fuel injector

Hi Gary,

Thankyou for that mate ! I’ll give them an email. I put a wanted ad on Facebook late last night for some lower rear arms and an offside hub, (to rebush a full set of arms and build a new pair of hubs then swap the lot over) was put in touch with a guy in oxford who breaks discos. I’ll see if he’s got some second hand ones. Theory being if I can swap some for known good and it cures it then i know it’s not electronic. I am going to send the guy a list of parts and see what he comes back with.

Email to you inbound later today buddy. Thumbs Up

Just found this company , wonder if it’s worth getting the injectors and fuel pump tested

Stupid question plse, the high pressure pump is a EU4 as I believe it runs at a higher pressure than the EU3 , wondering could it possibly be a EU3 HPFP

Just clutching at straws, ECM which I assume ultimately controls when the solenoids on the injectors open and close

Also would a leak back test be any good to do ???

See the egrs are water cooled, could they be leaking allowing water to enter the exhaust and producing the white smoke

Know that’s not much help and ur able to get to the bottom of this

Maybe this company will guide u better than i with them being specialists

I brought 2 secondhand, got them checked and tested but some places only test the injector not the electric solenoid. I then swooped them out and then got the old one’s tested and kept going like that so I didn’t have a big bill in one hit
