GPS Aerial hole size
Hiya
As always apologises being a pain , but was Wondering if anyone may know what size hole is underneath the GPS aerial please
Just saves me having to drop the roof liner out, mine has a blank there and will be running some wires through there for my solar , don’t want to drop the liner, remove the blank and then have to order a wiring box
Borrowed a pic of what blank I have ,hole looks around 3/4” / 22mm but difficult to tell from just the pic
Hoping I’ll then be able to fit a waterproof wiring box on the roof and hole will be the right size
Been trying to find what distance it is between the holes so that I’ll need to get a large enough wiring box to also cover the 2 x small holes
Thanks so much in advance

What about cutting through the existing blank and using a rubber grommet?2006 TdV6 HSE.

You can get at it without dropping the roof lining. Remove the rear trim panel with the interior light. it just pulls off.

Thank u so much , didn’t realise that , couldn’t remember how far forward it was , already had to remove the liner when I replaced some curtain airbags so knew it comes out and was expecting to do the same
That’s a good idea ref the using a grommet , will buy some grommets in order I can cut the hole to suit
I’d imagine something like a 15mm will be suffice to get the wires through , but will get the panel first so can see the size of wires
Will drop that rear panel and at least then it saves me dropping the liner
