Is this worth further investigation ?
im always dreaming about moving into D4 ownership, having had several FL1 and FL2 and a rough experience with a D2. Im currently in a 2012 FL2 Sport LE which I love but the D4 dream keeps reoccurring.
this has popped up locally to me and really not sure if its worth further investigation due to the mileage although the price does reflect this.
Take it for a test drive, try ALL the buttons to make sure everything works and good luck with the hunt Uncle Ray's spare wheel protector

thanks for the quick replies guys
I would guess that it hasn't been off roading much unless its been taken on a Saharan expedition... either that or its just trawled up and down the motorways.
MOT history shows it as having done 114k in its first 3 years and only 6k in the last year and if I was to go ahead more seriously I would definitely be asking for 4 new proper tyres, not budget, and suspension bushes etc.
Belts I believe are 112k (?) but as it says it has a full LR history I would initially assume they have been done (subject to double checking)
do the 2015 models still suffer from the random crankshaft failure? and what is the tax on them, 500+ or 300 ?
TIA again

£325 road tax
Two owners, I would question why it's only done 6K since last year? Possibly due to owner change after year 3?
If so why only keep for 1 year?

Don't accept that the fact it has full LR service history that the belts had been done. Check with who ever did the service. The previous owner might have specified just an oil change to save money, , especially if the car was to be sold. I speak from experience!

Yes, belts are 112,000 or 7 years, which ever is first.
Belts should have been done but you will need to check invoices to double check.

oh id be double and triple checking the service history that's for sure, ive walked away from one before that had 118k but the belts hadn't been changed and the dealer said they weren't due until 120k so he wouldn't change them.
one thing I have learned from owning land rovers is to ensure the service history is exactly as it should be and up to date.
As for change of owners, I change my cars frequently (too frequently!!) as im always looking for the next best thing. So an owner getting rid after a year doesn't worry me depending on service history and overall condition.

Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth, buy it quickly or you will miss it, I would/will, just be sure the engine is sound and hasn’t got s snapped crank at that price, take the warranty out and you can’t go wrong It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

You'll know as soon as it starts up, if it will start up with a broken crank, it will sound rather unmistakenly rough running on 4 cylinders or less
Ask for a volunteer off here to have a look at it with you if you have any doubts It can when others can't,

Hi Rog, as you know, "you take your chances", just get over here, you won't regret it.
See ya later.

You’d soon know, mine was leaving little piles of sand everywhere after three trips to the sandy parts of the world. When I stripped her down after she died there was still loads of sand in there that hadn’t made its way out.
