Rear passenger Half Shaft boot slinging grease
As in the title while under her skirt this AM I found that the inner rear passenger side half shaft boot (large end) clamp seems to have come loose, which is causing grease to sling out. I'll try to post pic, first time so not sure I know how.
Anyway pretty straight forward I would think. Theres the boot, the shaft and globs of grease.
1. Boot looks to be in good shape, really good shape. So can I just try to replace some grease and place a new clamp on ti without taking it all the way down, (i.e. removing wheel brakes, baking plate, etc) to expose the rear half shaft?
2. If so, what grease or unicorn poop do I need to replace in the boot? I would say there is about 1/5 of a grease tube, or half a tube of the little miniature grease gun tubes.
