| ABS sensor replacement follow on issues? |

Hi All,
Around 2 years ago, my 2005 Disco 3 started having an issue of traction control kicking in at inappropriate times (ie going round moderate bends at 30mph ish). Having looked at the various posts here I decided the first and easier port of call would be to replace all 4 tyres. This seemed by all intents and purposes to have fixed the problem.
Fast forward a year and a mysterious jet engine type noise takes me to the garage to find out that the 2 front wheel bearings and prop shaft need replacing as well as the ABS sensor. Over a grand later I'm pleased the strange noise is gone but on a long windy journey, the bloody traction control issue is back and probably worse.
Knowing I had a 3 hour drive back home last week, I took the decision to try driving with the DSC turned off as it was a right pain the TC kicking in every corner. All went well, however when I reached home, there was a pretty strong burning (maybe brake?) smell, emanating mostly from the passenger wheels. The rear passenger wheel disc was red hot to the touch.
I have it booked in on Tuesday because the TC issue seems like it might have been caused by the ABS sensor replacement but also wonder if the smell issue could have been caused by driving with DSC off or this is another issue coincidentally arising at the same time.
Either way I'm braced for another bill!
Any thoughts on whether the garage would have to foot the labour if the issue was cause by them?
Sorry this post is rather rambling and perhaps not connected at all but if anyone can shed any light on this it would be appreciated!

If the disc was red hot surely a sticking brake caliper?

I'm hoping it is a caliper issue as it seems that will be a relatively cheap fix!

If the DSC was off, the TC would not have been applying the brakes
I suspect you have 2 separate issues, one being a seized caliper/EPB, and the other being an alignment/SAS calibration issue  My D3 Build Thread
