Just printed this off in readiness for my next service [in 10k time], as I may not use a franchised dealer since my D3 is now out of warrranty. This service will be 'the big one' -105k. Cam belts need doing on this service!! Will show schedule to local garage to see if they're up to it. Good idea for this to be a Sticky - ideal for all others with vehicles out of warranty. slowly re-building my gallery after the wipe out !!!! . . Due 3rd service but only covered 30000 miles. Through the post I've been offered winter check for 50 quid by main dealer. Looking at the check sheet for the 3rd service and comparing this with the winter check the main difference is the oil change bar a few simple checks which would be covered by the due MOT, ie lights, brake function. Rather than taking on 3rd service, thinking of asking for oil change, MOT and winter service resulting in considerable saving. Any thoughts ??
