disco3 06 electrical fault

hi guys. water in drivers footwell on my disco3 06 removed water tried to start car nothing and dashboard lights up like a christmas tree now newbe to the forum any help would be gratefull.

i'd disconnect the battery

ensure the passenger side is dry.

Pray is the important bit, we all know how religion fixes everything.

A non religious dehumidifier is more likely a better bet, will have to lift the carpet edges up and other trim pieces to allow the whole car to dry and not just the surface.

Remove the channel along the door opening and the kick panel by the "go" pedal and make sure all is dried out before doing any fault finding. Chances are it is the sun roof drain that is blocked or scuttle is leaking if you do not have a sun roof or the "A" pillar mouldings.
