Keyless D4 - how to make things work with the engine off?!
I feel a complete muppet for asking this as I consider myself to be fairly practical!
But......
Once I’ve parked up and the engine is off how do I get the heated seats to work, warm air to blow etc?
As you would by turning the key to the second position.
Am sat in my D4 on the school pick up in a dark car with no heat on😁😁😁😁😁formerly Disco3Ben

ISTR heated seats won’t work without engine, if they did they’d soon kill your battery. It’s run the engine or take a hot water bottle with you.
I may be wrong though, it has been known. Try pressing the start button without a foot on the brake.

BUT he did amend his post to add "Try pressing the start button without a foot on the brake", which was my original post [since edited]

If you have timed climate there is a Manual Vent button that vents warm air into the cabin if the engine is off but warm. It's accessible without ignition on (i.e. you don't need Del's otherwise correct method above)... Just turn the radio on via the power button to wake up the system, and go to the option from the main menu.
Be warned, like all things relating to Timed Climate, it feels a bit random in when, and for how long, it works. There's a really long thread on it I'll try and find it.

You need to just press the power button on the main screen (without the ignition on) if you want to access the cabin heat / vent (and possibly timed climate as well)

From the look of weather back home you lot need a little localised global warming.
