Yep, if you keep the polystyrene jack holder, you'll need to cut bits out of it for the sprinter jack to fit. Si

Hi, Just got my Disco 3 2005 SE but it didnt come with a jack, well its got a trolley jack in the boot, but thats a bit much. I do have a small 2T bottle jack I can throw in but I am concerned that wouldnt be high enough.
So I was looking at bigger bottle jack, 6T ish and theyre a lot cheaper than a Sprinter one so I wondered what the benefits are of the Sprinter jack over a standard bottle jack?
Also any advice on a farm jack. I am hoping to give the disco a more off road look, and eventually actually take it off road and wondered if it was worth just getting the farm jack. If anyone has nay tips on where to keep this other than the standard throw it in the boot, that would be great.
Has anyone put a jacking kit in the spare wheel to save a bit of space?
Cheers

I prefer a trolley jack to a bottle jack - both infinitely superior to the dangerous LR jack.
Suggest you also carry a couple of pieces of wood & some wedges to assist in jacking.

I bought a Discovery 2 bottle jack and keep it in the 2nd battery tray under the bonnet
Few posts down for the top describes the procedure
