DrLex and Dom Harvey have worn me down.....
I've given in
They've forced me into going out for a cheeky beer somewhere in the vicinity of Yeovil(ish) on Wed 27th February*
Here's what www.Yeoviltown.com has to say:
Quote:Yeovil is a vibrant market town with a population of 40,000 situated at the Southern Boundary of Somerset, 130 miles from London, 40 miles south of Bristol and 30 miles from Taunton.
Strangely no mention is made of the exemplary customer service standards of the local Land Rover dealership I'm not too sure about this "vibrant" thing either
Dom is going to find a suitable pub, so anyone fancy joining us? Will be an evening do
Al
(*Or possibly Thur 28th. But we'll go with the 27th for now) Going, going...... Gone!
Carbon footprint? I neither know nor give a damn

Al, that's the day after the SE pub meet. Are you allowed out 2 nights in a row? If you are annoying me, just remember it takes 42 muscles for me to frown and only 4 to extend my middle finger, and I'm lazy so don't be offended.

First post edited to say evening. Can't get the time out during the day at the moment as I need to be on site during office hours through the first couple of months on this contract.

Hi Andy,
I'm dispensing wheels as I go, freeing up space for various items of garden machinery and bringing home more cash than I spend on fuel, food and beer. I think I'm allowed when I do it that way
You can't tell I used to be a salesman can you Going, going...... Gone!

Had already been reliably informed [by Nick] that the chip shop was the highlight of Yeovil town!
Hell, even the Travel Inn didn't have a restaurant last time I was there!

Not bad at all; Duncan is a good host and the beer is well-kept.
However, fair few miles from you and Al; thought Cerne Abbas would be closer. Nick (TLO) will be pleased, though. Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana
