2.7v6 Vacuum pump replacement
I’ve got one awful oil leak from my vacuum pump. I’m considering removing it and replacing the seal, but I’m not convinced that will fix it as it looks like it’s leaking from the casing. Has anyone had that issue before? It looks a pain in the to get to, but I don’t want to fit a new one if the old one is repairable. Are there any guides to replacing it? I’m handy with the spanners but not really in tight spaces. Any info much appreciated

Very long arms help.
Or a small light guy to sit in the engine bay.
There is a seal between the pump and head £30
Cheaper someone else. Search on here

Yeah I found the seal to replace cheap enough, but it looks like you can split the pump itself by undoing some torx screws, only issue is there doesn’t seem to be a gasket available for that bit. I’ve had the endoscope down it but there ain’t much room for my hands lol
