Not been on for a while but always get the answers on here so hear we go
My 62 plate d4 needs disks and pads changing up front, I’m liking the idea of 6 pot brembos I drive fairly quickly so good stopping power is required and tow a boat of just over 2 tonnes so again any extra power won’t go a miss.
What’s people’s experience of the 6 pot conversion or is there a better disk and pad option on the standard callipers?

I checked with my insurance company, they wanted an extra 220 quid a year for this upgrade, i deemed it not worth it.
Also tried a few others and they pretty much said the same.
I have don't it in the past and its good but at that cost. na.

Either will make a vast difference. D4 may require wheel spacers to fit 6 pots though...
Even with the 20 inch wheels? Did see a post that said about 5mm spacers?

Standard setup with Brembo High Carbon content discs and D-TEC Ceramic Content pads, does me for towing and spirited driving, not quite as good as similar discs and 6 pots on my RRS, but then that does have the V8 up front. 2011 Discovery 4 Commercial SDV6 (Gone)
