Fault code

Hi my IIDTOOL BT has fault code B1C57-(2F) passive start ignition relay coil circuit general electrical failure- circuit short to ground.
My question is what is this and we’re should I look have just taken delivery of the tool and cleared all faults but this stays.
Also the reason I lash out on the tool As I have had the usual abs traction and suspension lights on and all brakes locking on turns out steering sensor needed calibration After reading on here which I did today and no lights Now at the moment wheel bearing on drivers side front is also suspect could this be any thing to do with brakes locking on on there own sorry to go just trying to complete a picture before IIDTOOL was use still may have faults but tool is only reading this one

I'm sure you can ignore it, its one of those codes that appear for loads of people and no one ever gets to the bottom of it and it doesn't seem to make any difference to the driving experience

Brakes lock on

Thanks want to find why all brakes lock on when not push on pedal and stay on for while with the lights on dash . Went for run the check the faults had gone and the brakes lock .
Lucky had reader with me and cancelled faults did not read faults just keen to get back will try again when I am more prepared for it have check the front wheel bearing and that’s shot so I am thinking the brake problem is link to this perhaps the ABS working overtime.

Have you checked the brake light globes as they sometimes fail and give odd ball faults

They can work and still be knackered.
New bulbs and swictch before doing anything else, keep old switch in car as a spare and a pack of stop/tail bulbs.

Both my bulbs were working pefectly, note they are slightly black, and the stop filament has melted and dropped down on both bulbs.

With thise bulbs the brake light filiment drops and touches the side light circuit, every thing apears to work fine but it confuses the ecu. It happened twice on mine and the replacement bulbs were good quality Osram bulbs in the end i fitted LED bulbs and never had another issue.

No mine was coming up with gearbox and suspension errors.

If your brakes are locking on it could be a failed servo, when there locked on pull the vacuum pipe off and see if it makes a difference
