Fuel Rail Temp sensor, Rear wheel bearing. Damaged CV boot on rear driveshaft this will require a new CV joint I expect. The latter would be my fault for not checking and/or cleaning the mud that collects around the rear driveshaft where it exists the diff and goes through a hole chassis. When I finally cleaned the mud I found that the CV Boots 'high points' had worn away a result from rotating in a mud encrusted environment. For use of a 4x4 site and driver training pm me

They read this forum anyway. All opinions expressed in this posting are my own and are not necessarily those of someone who knows what they are talking about.
TDV6 S Auto, Silver with bramble finish, Cooper STTs & plenty of Stihl countryside control...

I think that vid was the first run through the Mud Run. I left the Terrain Response settings in std (off road height) & forgot to take traction control off, you can see it bog down at one point before all the electrickery kicked in & pulled it through.
At the next run through, they'd been pumping half of the river into the mud run! So was a bit gloopier, still nowhere near the levels of last year.
I set Mud & ruts with DSC off & it went through as smooth as a baby's bum! Kept the momentum & didn't bog down at all.
Was fully loaded, 5 up +bootfull of stuff.
Only bit I didn't do were the side slopes as the banks were a little too close (as the series LR found out in front of us!) I also heard of one RRS (07 plate) that had a nice new wrinkled metal effect from bonnet to boot along one side......
Kids loved it & I have to say, it's much more fun when there's a car full of people.
Thanks Reggieb & Manchester! Dunc & Jane & Everyone else, great weekend
EDIT Oh forgot to add, JohnFair's D3 setup looked amazing. Great reg plate too TDV6 HSE Black, Black Wheels /MTR's(in the shed!), Black RRS front/rear LR badge (tbf) Black Leather, Black Glass, Black TowB, Shiny Tasmods, Dull Mantec, White (& Orange) Reflective D3 Sticker, Black steering wheel badge, black air intake. Optima & Traxide dual battery setup.
Need black RRS wheel centre caps.
Now with added Engel.....
We D3, therefore we are..........

Also had a great time although next time will book with you guys. I was camped 100yds from the Devon 4x4 tent in the main camping field.
Bodsy wrote:Only bit I didn't do were the side slopes as the banks were a little too close (as the series LR found out in front of us!) On directions of my 7 year old I did do the side slopes without a scratch and received cheers from the marshals stationed at the exit. Seems a few tried to drive up the left hand bank instead of keeping down at the bottom of the slope.
A 90 got stuck in the mud section 2 cars infront of me (3:30pm Saturday) and had to be towed out. A 110 directly infront stalled in the 2nd section of water and had to be towed completely off the course (petrol V8 ).
Just shows that a completely standard D3 on road tyres makes a novice look quite good
