Spoke to Buckingham earlier, he can't make it either.

Yup, looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.

Just made it back home after the Saturday at Boughrood.
As ever, it explores the outer limits of Discovery
Even then, nothing can prepare you for the sight of Chris's unfeasably large beast being poked up and down such slippery places No doubt someone will have some video of it on one wheel!
An excellent day. Can't say I enjoyed myseld fitting a rack whilst everyone else was in the pub having lunch... did I mention the blizzard and the -2 temp + windchill?
Thanks to all who assisted with rack & pushing & pulling etc D3 number 3: 08 TDV6 SE Stormygrey /owlpacker
SIII Lightweight - neglected & rusting. Bulkhead now disintegrated - but its got a full service history!

Breakage Update...
After cleaning the beast off I have some hefty battle scars:
Height Sensor (Think we may have attacked geronimo with a bit too much gusto! )
Both sidesteps totalled, removed them when I got home, bit late now!
2 alloys badly scraped and need painting
Thanks to Andrew again for organising, TFC for the tuition, and diagnosing the height sensor problem, and Landysam for getting stuck in sorting the disco out this evening in the freezing cold. Really enjoyed this morning, shame I had a breakage. I think I may have to sort an old disco1 or defender out for playing, my poor disco3 is looking a bit of a mess www.Bitter-sweet.co.uk

I got some slightly dirty water in my beautifully clean intercooler
Actually, my worst damage was to my pride. I couldn't get out of a 2" high rut to get on to 'devil's back'. Must try harder next time. Or at least, force myself to change over to the off road wheels. Scorpions really are pants in thick mud.

Had a great day on Saturday
Got stuck and tested my excellent group buy rope
Watched Chris's Volvo get both back wheels off the ground on Devils drop hope someone got the piccies ..
Craig and Carl playing lumberjacks with axes removing a couple of trees blocking one route - well done to all that helped, not forgetting Matt and his Defender's new winch.
Then I failed to make one of the climbs after many attempts so diverted off to the left at the top thinking that I could turn round ... big mistake ... gravity and the surface didn't want to play nice. Every time I tried to move off I kept sliding closer and closer to the trees.. Ended up being winched (well done again Matt & the Pembridge lads) and tied off to a tree to turn me 180 degrees
No damage anywhere though but a bit dissapointed with the AT2's in the mud. 42.25 feet of sheer luxury ...

Had a similar incident at the top of the Toboggan run. It's fun looking back on it, but a little nervy at the time
Good luck with the Horse, hope it's ok
Thanks, she's on the mend now. Reading about all the breakages the boys have had I think I got off lightly with the Vets bill, although not so much fun aquiring it!
