Rear Climate - Stumped!
OK I'm stumped. I have a D3 HSE MY06 with rear climate that I've owned for about a year but never actually used the rear climate because I had nobody in the back. Recently started ferrying a few people around in the back and turns out the rear climate isn't playing ball.
I have the controls in the headliner at the back, but they're disabled, I have the vents etc as well all in there.
After some RTFMing I have discovered that there should be a rear climate switch or button on the climate panel in the front. There isn't. Instead the only buttons I have on that bottom row are Recirc, Off and Econ. No button on the panel to enable or disable rear climate.
So then, what is going on here? Has someone replaced the panel at some point with the wrong one and everything up that way, or did some D3s come out of the factory with controls but not functional, or thirdly am I just a total idiot who has missed something obvious?

Might be worth looking and seeing if they have blanked the rear air con pipes off and maybe they have gone the extra mile and removed the switch as well?
The air cone pipes run down the inside edge of the nearside sill and the hot water pipes run down the inside edge of the offside sill.

I'll pop the sills off and have a poke at the weekend. Have a remote head radio cable to put in there at some point so will be a 2 for 1 job !
Its not the end of the world if it wont work, or needs some TLC, but I really dont want to have missed a hidden button or something haha

At the bottom of the HVAC console there should be 2 buttons to the right and 2 to the left underneath the main auto dial. The button to the far right bottom will switch between opearing the rear air con as per the front settings. If you press it again it will work the rear aircon via the buttons mounted on the headlining.
There are 2 little lights on this button to indicate front and rear.
If these buttons are not present then something may of been altered at some point. D4 HSE Lux MY16 Club Waitomo

OK chaps - had a poke. There is a blower but still no button in the front. Have attached some pics of the pipes under the bonnet so the more knowledgable here can tell me if the pipes are missing for the rear.
My question is, if they are, if I got a control module with the rear switch on it & replaced the one I have with that, could I use the rear system for general air circulation in the rear or am I stuffed?
