Personally I'm looking at some time in April or possibly May.
Tuesday or Thursday is preferred.
What I personally would like to get out of the day is.....
Theory of winching (any useful pre reading around?)
Practice
Practical application of winching in different scenarios (and all winch related 'jobs')
Set-up
Safety
Loading recomendations
Best practice
Understanding pro's & cons (inc limitations) of steel vs plasma
I'd prefer no more than 4 (inc me) in the group. (although can have different days/groups if enough interest) TDV6 HSE Black, Black Wheels /MTR's, Black RRS front/rear LR badge (tbf) Black Leather, Black Glass, Black TowB, Shiny Tasmods, Dull Mantec, White (& Orange) Reflective D3 Sticker, Black steering wheel badge, black air intake. Optima & Traxide dual battery setup.
Need black RRS wheel centre caps.

Early week good - tues / weds
March / April
Basic recovery techniques
Safety of course & what NOT to do.
Finding the right line & anchor point
How to set up the vehicle
Equipment required
More recovery than having to winch to get over an obstacle as its un-drivable.

Other that being involved in a couple of winches & I think I know the basics, my only other 'formal' education wa steh 1 hour session at Rockingham last year, which for me (& indeed SWMBO) was a really good short intro session. TDV6 HSE Black, Black Wheels /MTR's, Black RRS front/rear LR badge (tbf) Black Leather, Black Glass, Black TowB, Shiny Tasmods, Dull Mantec, White (& Orange) Reflective D3 Sticker, Black steering wheel badge, black air intake. Optima & Traxide dual battery setup.

Some time in May for me would be great (yes, I know you all want to do it now, but that fits in for me) TDV6 HSE Black, Black Wheels /MTR's, Black RRS front/rear LR badge (tbf) Black Leather, Black Glass, Black TowB, Shiny Tasmods, Dull Mantec, White (& Orange) Reflective D3 Sticker, Black steering wheel badge, black air intake. Optima & Traxide dual battery setup.

As a non winch owner I am interested as I am considering one and really should know the basics in case Iam on the other end of a winch someday
May is good for me, middle to end of the month - but work may still make it impossible "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."
