Just seen a D3 with the above reg for sale. Has a disco3.co.uk sticker on it so just wondering if anyone has the history on the vehicle that they can run through.2011 D4 SDV6 HSE

I like the terrain response decals on the back, particularly the nod to Gerry McGovern styling.2014 - D4 2010 HSE Nara Bronze

Thanks admirable, I’ve uncovered the fact that it seems to have become a Cat S at some point in time, indicated on an ad on Motors.co.Uk but not on autotrader…2011 D4 SDV6 HSE

Hi,
thats a bit naughty
thought it was a legal requirement to show if its on a register,
many more adds now seem to have a small comment stating its cat?
depends "when" it was done a 2 year old car has to have a lot more damage than a 10 year old one
So now whose D3 was it, and why weren't the current vendors honest in their description ??
Who is selling this car ?

No reason to suspect Southgrove of dodgy practice. They sold the car on 08/02/20 and it was wrecked a year later.
I also know how much the buyer paid to buy the damaged car, prior to repair. Although I think future owners should check the history, perhaps it is a little unfair to leave the gruesome posted pictures here. What do you reckon?
Based on information found, I can conclude that the previous owner of GF59 OWW, bought a 2013 RRS from Southgrove on 10/01/20. The day before they posted the YT video.Chris

Thanks motorworks. The current seller isn’t Southgrove but the hpi check appears in one ad but not the other platform that it appears on. No mention of the write off status in the text in either ad. Just goes to show that you have to do your homework…2011 D4 SDV6 HSE

IMHO please leave the photographs to show the, fairly minor, damage.

thought a dealer had a legal obligation to carry out an HPI check ? and if so if they then dont declare it either on the advert or to a buyer whos feet does the responsibility fall at ? the dealer for knowingly selling a recorded vehicle without declaring it as such? or the poor buyer ?
i get that its not that expensive to privately HPI check a car, but if you go to look at several and have to pay for an HPI check for each one then it soon mounts up2011 D4 XS 305 MY12 - gone but not forgotten
