Just a reminder for those that haven't travelled before.
Make sure you have a spare wheel, wheel nut spanner, locking nut tool .( obvious I know but I have to say it )
A shackle that is strong enough and that can easily fit in both the rear & front towing eye of your Disco.
Some sort of decent tow rope should you need to be towed out anywhere .
A ground sheet is handy if you need to have a gander under your Disco at any point.
Grub & Liquid. ( Petrol station with foodcourt located where we will meet first in Ballyhea)
Clean Underpants ( Your mother may be proved right )
Between all of us we'll have the bits anyway , so don't panic This excludes underpants of course , bring your own or else go Commando.
Youll be asked to remove the front plastic radiator/intercooler guard and the plastic rear tow hook before we set out aswell.Bring 80 euro cash for Munster 4 x 4 .Note: This goes entirely to Munster , they make a few quid and the rest goes to Coillte for the Licence to use the forest. But if you want to give me your money , I'll take it
Finishing time will be around 5 or 6 ish.Last day we covered approx 30 klms ISTR Willy clocking it.Most of it will be in Low Box and High revs , so fuel up.
Any questions fire away , this excludes Barry , Martin , Willy etc who are bound to come back with a smartase question Don't take life too seriously ..... it's not permanent

| Nice track found ............ |
|
On my way down from Willies neck of the woods yesterday the Sat Nav took me on a little bit of it's own expedition , didnt mind as I wasn't under any pressure.Good thing is that it took me up into the Sleve Bloom mountains.Took me past an ungated track where they were felling. As part of Coilltes Open Woods policy they unlock the gates when felling , block off certain routes and post warning signs.
Anyway I ventured in as far as time allowed for about 10 klms before turning round. There looked to be plenty of track left for as far as I could literally see.On my way down the mountain I spotted another with equally impressive routes.I'll contact Coillte and see what their parameters are as regrds taking vehicles in and get back to you all.It may be worth a recce by a few of us in the near future. Any volunteers ? Don't take life too seriously ..... it's not permanent
