I'd like to say that today was bloody brilliant. It was great to meet you all and see your cars. When I heard the guy from Munster4X4 say he hadn't realised how capable the Disco3 was I was chuffed. Considering we had hitches, road tyres and quad tailpipes between us it was great that we all managed it.
I don't think there was any serious damage to my D3. The steering wheel is off center but it is driving straight and I'll have it to the repair guy in the morning.
Thanks to Discowex for organising
when is the next one? The Double D's

When offroading I would also recommend making sure you follow a D3 with a multiheight towbar. They don't half clear the track in front of you The Double D's

yawlboy: good to hear its not as bad as I thought
I'd have to say that was the best day out we've had so far, I think the boys at Munster4X4 are trying to break us but these dammed D3's just sock it up think they'll have to try harder next time
Nice to have meet you all the new and the old faces .
Thanks too to Munster4X4 for letting us take home a large part of Cork in,under and over are cars and as for uncle rays rock sliders on there first day out off road a rock found me and I can say they worked a treat if I had not got them on I'd need a new drivers door now and all they have to show are some nice scraping
All in all the day was .

Great Day .. and good to see some new faces,
Well done to Yawlboy , Bobic and Tanters , For first timers ye handled it very well.
Not that I'm any expert but you all did a great job .. very impressive
some of that stuff was quite scary.
I found the day quite a challenge , very technical in places ,
Going down the hill (the steep one that breaks to a sharp left)
First time I've ever had two wheels off the ground , at the same time
and also the river was good fun
Good Man DW. for setting it up and thanks to boys at Munster4x4
Looking forward to seeing the photos. One Wife.. Kill it ..
