difference between d3 v8 and tdv6 alternators

hi guys is there anyone that can explain the difference between v8 and tdv6 alternator for me exept part no please
 DONE
D4 external upgrade
D4 door panels
D4 internal upgrade

Germany 2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Auto Bonatti GreyDiscovery 3

The V8 pulley has six ridges, the TDV6 has eight (I think).

I expect the internals are pretty similar.

will the chrge rate be effected if the pulley is slightly bigger

The charge rate does not fully depend on the RPM of the unit. It has a voltage regulator and the vehicle's ECU to determine the output.
So a slightly larger pulley would not affect the alternator's output.
