Improving GS Stereo with little effort

Any suggestions for improving the base stereo in GS spec? It sounds awful. New speakers? Extra amp? What would be an easy and cheap fix if there is one. Does the aux-in sound better than radio?

Having the benefit of hearing aids and far from perfect hearing.
My commercial, equal to GS spec sounds fine to me! The XS commercial I had for a while with the better spec audio, had more bass. Though it was not a massive improvement on the one I still have.
So probably not the best judge of sound. On the auxiliary socket, even I can hear some interference with it.
Hopefully you get some more helpful answers.

I don't think there is an easy fix for this as the screen, amp and head unit are all canbus connected not sure if the speakers are 2ohm or not like in the D3s most modern aftermarket speakers are 4ohm. D4 GS let the retro fit begin
