Reversing Light & Camera

I'm going to try and wire in an aftermarket reversing camera. Has its own head unit. It needs to tap into reversing light to activate it. Is this an easy job? Has anyone done this? Any tips?

Tapping into the reversing light is pretty easy, access through the loom in the rear left cubby hole for me, you just need the positive going to the reverse bulb 2008 HSE Stornoway Grey

My Wife thinks the D3 is a hobby, The D3 thinks the wife is 💕

Depending on your spec, it might not needs its own headunit. You can activate the reverse camera using an IID or similar so the camera image goes onto the main screen

I am installing a carpuride head unit. I am pretty impressed so far, it has wireless car play and Android auto. Will sit on the dash. Plugged into Aux. Cheapest non destructive way of getting carplay. £150 all in.
