Ok the initial reaction to a West Midlands Pub Meet is good, so signup if your interested.
Looking at either April or May.
Location is flexible, i know a few good local pubs with excellent food and great local ales and large enough car parks.
(Spent the last weekend sampling most of them )
However the location thats good for me, may not be good for everybody.
I was thinking of Lapworth/Henley type area - but as mentioned this is flexible. Let me know.
Sign up if interested and i'll make the arrangements
cheers

A West Midlands meet has really gotta be in the Black Country aye it mate!
What about the Pie Factory in Tipton?
Mate of mine owns it and the Lumphammer bitter wash down a desperateDan Pie with ease!

Henley or Tipton a broad choice there,
There are a number of Pubs up on the A5 NE of Brum as well so a guess this may move around a bit as well. Silver TDV6 S with sat nav, PTI and Moosed up a bit

I've gone for May as it's clearer for me with the Lakes etc being at the End of April . . .
Will pop along to either if I can "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

I've signed up for April but either date is good for me depending on the green light from SWMBO'd of course.
The Pie Factory is a good venue but the car park isn't exactly what I would call spacious. On the last pub meet we had about 12 - 14 vehicles parked up so a good size carpark is always important. Keep the suggestions coming.
Happy to have it anywhere, as mentioned. Majority counts
Signup is for 14 days - will make a decision on where and when after that
Anybody any preferences for weekday/weekend? I know most of us have family committments so weekends aren't the best, however weekdays are busy for all of us.
cheers

Vote for Global Warming - Cambridge on Sea sounds good to me, no more using the M5 to get to the seaside

Just tried to sign up for both - didn't work
Sundays and Thursdays are no good for me, food would be a bonus, but it means SWMBO will want to come. (Claims I never take her anywhere) Silver TDV6 S with sat nav, PTI and Moosed up a bit

I've just had another thought. Perhaps we could call it the Midlands Area Meet. Then, if SWMBO doesn't approve, I can tell her I'm off to see me MAM and I wouldn't be telling complete untruths! Sharks: Natures way of telling surfers to get a job

The Pie factory is great.. When I'm working its a great place to sit up and wait for the stolen cars for a bit of a chase!
If a car is nicked anywhere around Dudley, Tipton, Bilston or Wednesbury pound to a pinch of snuff the thing will come past the Pie Factory.

After talking to SWMBO, we though that somewhere in the M5/M42 interchange type (Bromsgrove/Droitwich) area might be preferable.
This allows everybody fair access via the motorway network and is "roughly" equidistant from most people and nobody can moan at me for having it on my doorstep.
Don't know this areas pubs too well, but plan to have a drive out there and do some fact finding (SWMBO's driving )
I'll look for one with a decent car park, that does food and is good for SWMBO's and junior D3 drivers, as theres no way i'll get out without dragging SWMBO and little'uns

Craig, what are the chances of posting a link to this meet over on the RRSport site? I don't want to be the only Sport there on the day. Arctic Frost RR Sport. TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Tow pack, PTI, Privacy Glass, Tasmods, Mudflaps & a RRSport umbrella in the boot.
