Radio problems

My 2011 Bosch ICE has developed a fault. Ive lost DAB and the radio intermittently resets its self to 87.5 mhz, it might be once a minute or every other second or nothing for 20 minutes. Needless to say its driving me mental. Additionally when it resets its self it pops in the speakers and even does it when the radio is off.

Any ideas? Was wondering if its an earthing problem or something that might be reset by IID?? Before I take the dash apart and put a hatchet to it all

not necessarily a behind the dash problem. I had similar issues, drove me mad for ages - I took off the rear panel in the boot to expose the bluettoth unit, DAB radio, amp etc and removed all the connections and most leads and refitted - for now it seems ok. You might want to get hold of a MOST loop so you can remove each item 1 by 1 to try to isolate the problem.

If you search this forum for phrases like "DAB problems" "MOST loop" "audio problems" etc there is a lot of info that may help you. Just need to spend a few hours reading and hope you get lucky.

Thanks for that. Its been an ongoing problem for weeks and today when i did a hard reset and plugged in the Autel device i have now lost radio entirely...

I"ll certainly be having a look on the MOST loop as thats what came up today with the scanner
