I'm still going
Although I will be driving on to Leeds after and staying in hotel, have to see customer first thing Monday. Let's help Delilah doesn't get too muddy _________________ If you are annoying me, just remember it takes 42 muscles for me to frown and only 4 to extend my middle finger, and I'm lazy so don't be offended.

It won't be muddy. More rocky than muddy. _________________ All opinions expressed in this posting are my own and are not necessarily those of someone who knows what they are talking about.

I will monitor CB Ch19 and also scan the PMR channels on the way in if anyone is listening. Just bought two brilliant Entels from JMC's company - excellent service - thanks John _________________ I was taught to be cautious.

Rob, what's the plan for food, is there a pub on route for lunch or should I bring the picnic hamper? _________________ If you are annoying me, just remember it takes 42 muscles for me to frown and only 4 to extend my middle finger, and I'm lazy so don't be offended.

Can I canvass opinions on who wants to eat at a pub and who wants to picnic?
There are a few nice looking pubs offering food on or near the route. I will add a list of them to the route instructions which I will distribute on the day. It's difficult to chose a single pub in advance as I'm not sure how fast people will get round the route.
OTOH the route is pretty long. If you want to get round it all, it would be better to have a picnic on the route. I guess it depends on how hard-core you're feeling.
What do people want to do?
cheers

I'm happy with a picnic on route. _________________ If you are annoying me, just remember it takes 42 muscles for me to frown and only 4 to extend my middle finger, and I'm lazy so don't be offended.

Picnic is fine for me too. I'll have one, possibly two daughters in tow, and they can be slow eaters, so the pub option would probably introduce too much delay. _________________ Mark...

Just PM'd you Rob - don't know how I have unregistered, but I have put back on. Will have to use the Defender though as the D3 has developed a steering problem, so is in the stealers.
Sorry to let the side down by lowering the tone with a Defender!
RE eats, we are happy with a picnic or what everyone else wants.
