It's obviously a long way down from up here, but if I did make the journey, how long does this stuff take to fit? Though with 2 tanks of Diesel it might be cheaper getting these fitted locally. Anyone know a decent Scottish dealer who does these films.
Point about the cost of replacing nicked things is well made.

think I've already put times , but Ben informs me he needs the car for 1/2 a day. It's then a 20 Minute walk to the local pub / shop / Land rover dealer for a browse and lunch at the pub. Job done. "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

Well spotted, Fleur is a bit of a giveaway isn't it? If at first you don't succeed.... destroy all evidence that you tried in the first place!!

Does the fitting of the tinted security film have any effect upon the aerials on the rear windows? Better to be late in this world than early in the next

Does this price include removal/refitting of trim where required to ensure an edge to edge fitting?

Just to be clear for my understanding
Quote:Security film (BS 6206) clear all round for cars with factory privacy glass £325
Means ALL windows Excluding the FRONT WINDSCREEN?
so,
Rear hatch
Both row three side windows
both row two side windows and qtr lights
both row one windows
NOT front windscreen
is that correct? TDV6 HSE Black, Black Wheels /MTR's, Black RRS front/rear LR badge (tbf) Black Leather, Black Glass, Black TowB, Shiny Tasmods, Dull Mantec, White (& Orange) Reflective D3 Sticker, Black steering wheel badge, black air intake. Optima & Traxide dual battery setup.

I would like front done under legal limit and the rest pretty dark, are there any pics of discos with this done.
I would probably wait until the first batch got done and had a look at the different tints on a D3. Also a member of avforums.com
