Problem is Land Rover windows already carry a light tint - so light tint + light tint = darker tint. The law was actually devised for dark motorcycle visors and ammended in a sort of stupid, half-cock kind of way.
Me, I just wouldn't fit it to front windows. Looks good but It's not worth an accident, especially if it's a SMIDSY (Sorry mate I didn't see you) and I take a motorbike or somebody out. "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

yes ... I just realised that - funny, I was sitting in the car the other day with the front windows half down thinking 'hmmm they ARE a bit tinted' then promptly forgot about it

Have you looked at the website ?
Do you want security or normal tints ?
I basically wanted the darkest I can legally, security film front and back. I will give them a ring tomorrow. Also a member of avforums.com

Right, i'm in...
On the understanding that I am happy to pay deposits etc., but I may need a few weeks to schedule the time to get up there and see them. If they don't mind that then I'm onboard for some of the tinted security gear
Pete.

That's the idea of the deposit
Ben doesn't mind ordering rolls of the film provided that he has commitment and covers at least some of the outgoings. Hence reduced risk, quantity discount and good price for us lot "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

How many can he do at a time (is it just him?) thinking it may be a good excuse for a mini-meet & some lunch somewhere nearby TDV6 HSE Black, Black Wheels /MTR's, Black RRS front/rear LR badge (tbf) Black Leather, Black Glass, Black TowB, Shiny Tasmods, Dull Mantec, White (& Orange) Reflective D3 Sticker, Black steering wheel badge, black air intake. Lol I'll ask.
There are generally two of them. I think he is working on one car at a time. But two or three in a day. Will have to check - but sounds like it may be an idea "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

A meet/decent extended lunch sounds a great idea but possibly a nightmare to organise - there would have to be at least 3 sittings over 3 days!
I'm in for one of the sittings if the dates work out!

Just had mine done today and really pleased with the end result - did the rear passenger windows in medium (20%) and load area glass in dark (5%). Feels much nicer inside now - not dark but more private. Hope you like it

Cost......280 plus VAT. There were cheaper places but these have done a vehicle for me before and the end result is always excellent. They have a sealed bay to do the work in as well, so no dust flecks on the film (3M). Of course when SWMBO asked, it was 200 quid all in D3 TDV6 S 2005 - TorqTune, Privacy Glass, Remote FBH, 19" HSE Alloys, Boot liner, retrofit F&R PDC
Defender 90 Truck Cab TD5 2003 - Ifor Williams back, alloys (SWMBO's toy - well, one of them )
Toyota Yaris 2008 (SWMBO's company shopping trolley)

Nice job!
SWMBO must be well pleased at 200 quid all in - you'll be be able to treat her to something really nice with the 100 quid or so you saved on the going rate!
Hadn't considered a combination of tint shades behind the B pillar - have many others done this?
