On my last car (05MY Rav4) I had dark on all glass B-post back, and whilst I liked it, it was a bit 'limo'. When I dropped the D3 off this morning at the tint bay they had just finished a brand new TDV8 RRS in the same way - medium on the doors and dark in the back, and I liked it so much I just told them to do the same on mine. It looks better in real life than the pictures suggest, and kind of gives a graduated effect from the factory standard tint on the fronts to the dark at the back. I have just signed up on the basis that I can have factory tint in the front, medium in the middle and dark at the back. Don't know which % that should be but no doubt Ben can sort that out.

I'm in - couldn't make my mind up whether to have security or normal. Have gone for security - will discuss tint when I book it in. 2007 TDV6 SE Zermatt Silver, auto, black leather and nothing else!

Postie is going to love me
Been asked a proper question " How far is it to the pub ?" Well on Memory-Map it's showing as 1.3Km so not too far at all. Half of that is a strole along the Canal towpath, which is lovely but CAN be muddy.
Pub is just above the B4666 sign. Work back along the "track" red line to Midland Tinting. "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

Yes please, I would like tints and the security film.
Let me know who I send the deposit to.
Can I choose what level of tinting on the day?

Hi Owen1 Click on one of the options above. Left hand and middle options are security and right hand is tint only.
Security film comes in all the same shades as normal film, but to get the best rate, Midland tinting have given us two options. Clear and 20% tint. ie this lets through 20% of light and stops 80%, It's as close to factory privacy glass as will get. If you want different levels you will have to talk to Ben directly or go for tint only. Sign up and I will send you the details "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

Postie has been busy. Started confirming as cheques received. Just handed over to Midland tinting so receipts and booking details should be with you in the next few days . . . .

Reckon you've done an excellent job organising this Christian - planned like a military operation.
Best that we let you know when we'll be in the pub so that we can each buy you a beer or three!

Now there's a plan.
Popped in to drop yesterdays cheques off. I know receipts have been posted for 1st batch of cheques. Will hand over this lot tomorrow morning.
Glad to be of assistance. But won't be doing another one for a while. "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

As I have a daily conversation with Land Rover Customer Services at the moment, I asked for clarification of Land Rover standard tint on "clear" windows. They are 82% light windows. So anyone planning on fitting tint to front windows you can now go and do your homework "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."
