Is it possible to switch the regular rearview mirror for the auto-dimming mirror with homelink transmitter that comes with the lighting package?
Not sure if the power cables are standard across all models.

Thanks. Does it get power from a wiring harness or through the mount on the windshield? Do you know if they are there on all models?

It gets the power from the wiring harness .... I was just going to tap into the power in front of the light's If you do a search you will see others have done this also

I'd like to purchase one as well. I have the powered auto dimming unit, but not the homelink mirror. Let me know if you one for sale pm me. Also, is it plug and play capable? Thanks!

Just to confirm. You can plug the Homelink mirror into the wires that are connected to my current powered dimming mirror? I have an HSE so I'm assuming that the wires will be there.......is it just plug and play?
I'll buy it from you for $55, but OCPaul brought up the subject and i don't want to cut in front of him if he wants it.
