Open tailgate from inside?

Is there any way to open the tailgate from inside the D3? Setting up an air mattress in there for camping this weekend and it would be much nicer to open the tailgate rather than perform strange acrobatic feats to get out the side doors. Laughing

Press the unlock and lock buttons on the dash at the same time, though you'll have to push the tailgate whilst you do it. Side doors will probably be easier!

Camped in mine a few times, never had any issues using side doors.

That's an EXCELLENT idea with the fob! Hadn't thought of that. It's one of the three things it does right? Tailgate, lights and suspension? Thanks! Thumbs Up

Never got my fob to open the tail gate fully, it will only particaly unlock the catch.

as you press the fob pull the tailgate, if not it will not open and as you said will remain half latched.
