Not been posting since December... blame it on what..ever ..

Last news was Traded my old SIFFY (my old MY05 D3) for a new MY08 model in Dec07 and already done 10K Km on it. Will be posting my comparison soon as I do have a few things to mention on this topic.

Hey IronMan. Is that "IronMan" as in 3,8km swim, 180km bike, 42km run, or as in the 4x4 stuff? If it is the former we may have passed eachother in a daze of exhaustion in PE last weekend. Thumbs Up

He he... Yes Andrew... that's the one Very Happy

Haven't done an IronMan the last 2 years due to time constraints; takes a LOT of time to train and coming from where I used to race profesionaly many moons ago I only go for broke, which is for the working class not always possible Censored

Training for Comrades this year.. but even that seems VERY far suddenly Sheep

So keep on training and maybe I'll join you next year Whistle

Do I see a G4 challenge lurking here?
Cool
Is Tata not bringing in camels, donkeys or (african, not midget indian) elephants? Mr. Green
You can run, swing, swim and cycle.

I'd rather drive.

IronMan. Hey nothing like your times that's for sure, but as a "non-pro" athlete I was chuffed with my 11hrs 27mins.
I had a good swim of 59mins. The bike was OK at 5hrs 48mins. As you know the race starts in the last half of the marathon. I was on track for a sub-11hr race but vicious cramp reigned me in. I was forced to run/walk the last 10km which seriously slowed me down. Hey it was my first Ironman and was a great experience so I was really happy.
