| Today I Sacked the Dealership!!!! |
|
Well its been coming for some time but today had to withdraw my D3 from the workshops of J.V.Like @ Hay On Wye totally dissatisfied with the bul lsht, lies and deception that has been going on!!! and inform them they ae sacked!!!. Had to demand immediate return of my vehicle which on its return has no audio at all, fuel all gone but little miles travelled?.
Overall Issues reported never get fixed fully,no ownership of problems and the old chestnut of "no fault code no problem" and worst of all not really bothered about it!!!. Parts always on backorder, never return calls or proactively update on progress, you always have to ring them.
I have had enough - they have been sacked!
In fact getting pretty d off with Landrovers - they very rarely work as they should, great when they do but thats a rare thing.
Having suffered 3 Freelanders,1 D2 and 2 D3's all of which have never worked well I must be mad to have stuck it out for so long.
Someone please convince me otherwise but this is really bad!. Can anybody give me feedback on experiences they have had @LR Stealers @ Cardiff,Swansea & Newport as they are my only alternatives in South Wales to get this bloody mess sorted out before I take the decision to get rid of my D3 and the landrover hassle factor.
I will not return to JV LIke under any circumstances
Any input would be greatly received.

Try MJ Fews at charfield Glocs, just over the Bridge on the M5 North. They have always been good for me.
I thought JV Likes were very good. I guess it depends on how much money you spend with then every year _________________ Duncan

Thanks for the advice - if its a matter of how cash you splash with them then the service should be 5*+ for me as I renew every 18 months with a new vehicle,my daughter had a freelander from them and my wife has a new MX5 every year from them although the last one had to be totally replaced when the workshop fitted dealer fit extras and totally wrecked the car!!
Anyway when you buy a premium vehicle you should get the service to go with regardless of your yearly spend with them - if anything from the sales perspective the Mazda side of their business is much better than the laid back we can sell everything we have so don't care attitude of the LR side!!!
Cheers M8

No problem.
If your car is in warranty, I would suggest a calming glass or two this evening, then perhaps tomorrow a deep breath and a phone call to Land Rover CS to explain your predicament and reasons for the fallout. _________________ Silver TDV6 HSE

A glass or two tonight -Yes!!
As for Sir Alan Sugar well : "It's a bloody disaster tell me why I should not sack the lot of yer"
" its with regret but JV.Like - Your Fired!!!" (with a pointing finger)
As for the history of this mess where would I begin - its that bad the size of my messages would crash the forum server.
All I will say is would you trust a dealer who 1 year ago damn nearly killed me having adjusted my parkbrake which then failed and came on @ 70mph causing total destruction of the braking system and threw me off the road?. I did after 1 year at another dealership believing they would have learnt the lesson, how wrong I was!!!
Pen to paper 2moz and formal complaint raising high on the agenda.

I only live a few miles from said garage, yet I chose to travel a nearly 60 mile round trip to buy or service our landrovers! I few people I talk to get very good service, but they have never even returned a call or taken me seriously when Im trying to buy a landy, so they have lost my business 3 times already, twice for brand new. My father has always had the same problem for years. We currently run two landys, and they are still not interested. _________________ Powered by :

Agree with your comments there Sidney. When I ordered the Green Peril I had 3 quotes all within a couple of hundred quid of each other and then theirs - £3050 more than the next lowest.
What's more, a friend had his FFRR in for 4 days and the loaner was a yellow Mazda 2. I live down the road and would love to use them for convenience but I think they need a wake up call.

I have always found Ludlow good, I also travel 40+ miles to find a dealer I could trust. I am really surprised that JV's as I know one member who has exceptional service from them and when I was having trouble with another dealer JV's offered me some good advice _________________ 05 2.7TDV6 S AUTO Silver - Retro-fitted Leather.

Agree with Duncster - Shukers in Ludlow have given excellent service and support for the last nearly 9 years I've been dealing with them.

I agree with others about Shukers in Ludlow -- they've always been first class as far as I'm concerned.
