Air to coil conversion

Good Evening

My discovery 3 has been giving me endless grief with the air suspension so we have decided to convert it onto coils instead.

Just a few questions, been reading the instructions and have tried to locate the suspension control module. I have pulled off the cover to the side of the drivers footwell like it states but can not see the box anywhere.

Also, I have discovered a broken wire (which could be the root cause) does anyone with experience know what the broken wire is for amongst the millions of electrics the car has. Have attached a photo of the wire.

Many Thanks

I’d suggest repairing the wire and seeing what happens, then get the codes read to give you an idea of what’s actually happening ! Thumbs Up

Thanks.
Will repair the wire anyways but have had numerous fault codes from it.
Currently it has a connection issue with the module but has had a fault with the front drivers ride height sensor for ages too. Put it down to electrical/wiring issues after it fails after a couple of drives even after fitting new ones.
It seems to get new issues after you fix something else which has become increasingly annoying and makes it too unreliable for long journeys. Im hoping coils will elimate the majority of the problems then just need to figure out where the huge oil leak is coming from and hopefully it will be enjoyable to drive again

You’ll miss the air suspension when it’s gone, gives a much better ride and many options if heading off road.. persevere for a while longer Very Happy

The air suspension ECU is in that area but about 30cm higher up. As I recall it is held by one bolt on the top and then slides upwards to release..
