Can you bypass faulty expansion tank low coolant warning |
|
Ok so I have a faulty coolant expansion tank low coolant warning. I have checked and fluid level correct. So while I order a new tank and find time to replace can I do anything to stop bong and warning etc. remove a fuse or something. Thanks.

Yes, pull the connector out from behind the bottle, you will have to remove the head lamp assembly and grill as it’s accessed under the bottle and with a short length of wire connect the two terminals together. The connector is held in place with a “U” shaped clip and must be pulled off to release the connector, long snipe nosed pliers are needed and don’t drop the clip”. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

That sounds like a good plan, day off work tomorrow so that’s my morning job 👍
