air suspension on key fob

hi.does anyone know is it poss to lower the suspension when the car is switched off and locked[within a minute of switching off ofcourse]by using the landrover button on my key fob.i was parked next to a range sport the other day and when he got out he pressed a button and it lowered.never thought to ask him about it though.
i thought it must be poss coz the two cars are basically alike.
cheers

I seem to remember the Dealer telling me it could be set to lower from the fob... never tried it though.

Dunc,

I think you have to program the LR button on the key fob, but then have the hazards switched on (or something bizarre like that).

So I think not.

It's incase there are children playing "under" the car and you might crush them by lowering the suspension.

Which of course won't happen with the hazards on , as the child will see the said flashing and quickly remove him/herself from under the car

I've tried programming my fob to do this. I wondered why it didn't work, so you say the hazzards have to be on. What a load of tosh! It's the lawyers that run businesses these days.............

Is it possible he selected 'access height' whilst the door was open, then when he shut it the vehicle lowered, and he was just pressing the button to lock it? Not sure if it would lower without the key in the ignition once he shut the door?

I thought of using a remote relay to activate the hazards so it could lowered, but there are too many wires going to the switch. Sad

sometimes this happens to me but I cant notice what I did different. However it is not access height. It has lowered a bit when I pressed the button coming back to the car.
