As it was completely dry the whole week and should be mostly sunny over the weekend I think you guys with standard tires should also be fine offroad. I'll still fit the MTs for the looks of them
See you tomorrow My Videos

It was great to see you guys again
Unfortunately for those on standard tires the rain turned the track into a mudhole within minutes. Something that I did not expect to happen as the ground looked quite sand-like at first. Sorry about that! I hope you still had a good time. At least no one broke anything expensive.
I uploaded a first batch of photos (the ones I took): http://gallery.mac.com/userfehler#100371
Simon if you can send me yours I will add them to the gallery as well. I will also try to find some time this week to collect the different videos and edit them into a short movie.
Hope to see you again soon (and get some proper tires)
Cheers,
Florian My Videos

Mounty
Cheers for a great day again, road tyres or no road tyres I still enjoyed it.
I notice a big lump of trim missing off your car door in the photo's - did that happen after I left? What is the story? Ripped off by some car eating mud?
Oh and with three registerd to go but six cars turning up was a treat. The two hour road convoy through France looked cool. Life is what you make it.

| Blown airconditioning compressor |
|
Bad news. Whining sound that wasnt me, wifey or the kids appeared between 1500-2500 rpm (stationary or mobile) turns out to be the air-con compressor. Probably didnt like all the submersion test or the heavy clay application (detailing ?). Will be replaced next Tuesday under warranty
Standard tyres did well, just a bit slippy from side to side.
Otherwise a great day. Good to see y'all again. Red Indian wisdom: If you must jump canyon, dont do it in 2 steps.
