RESET SUSPENSION HEIGHT TO CLEAR OBSTRUCTION ...??

Happy new year!!

Well as already explained earlier I bought and installed a new Battery! also had the new drivebelt and tensioner installed! with the new battery I actually had to reset a few things!

Anyway now I get a message saying: RESET SUSPENSION HEIGHT TO CLEAR OBSTRUCTION!
Funny! but there is no obstruction, nothing is in the way!

anybody? thanks!

What height is your suspension at? This normally flashes up when you activate ‘extended mode’.

It happened after changing to a new battery after the drivebelt and tensioner was put in. I have never had the car in extended mode its always been in normal/instep mode!
Maybe the new battery deleted some memories? or whatever? the orange suspension warning light have been flashing for a month or something but the car have always been in Normal mode!

Was the car jacked up at any point? Sometimes if the car can’t lower properly due to some resistance, it’ll come up with the message. I would check your codes if you have a suspension warning light too, I assume the amber light stops you lowering and lifting the air suspension?

No the car was never jacked up. I think youre right the amber light is what stops me from raising or lowering the car.
What about removing the fuse, No3 (5A) ?? Btw, I can still drive the car without problems!

I’m not sure that that would clear a fault with a EAS. But maybe someone with more knowledge then me can help with.

Why not try the "Reset Everything" trick? Remove both battery terminal leads and short the leads together, sometimes need a long screwdriver to bridge the leads.

I did that and lew and behold it worked fine! It must have been the cold ( minus 22) that particular morning! I've noticed that anything below minus 10 could give problems.
However the car takes a long time to warm up, the temperature-gauge takes a long, long time to get to the middle!
