Yes i have Adrian Flux i have my 130 with them on commercial policy with off rd cover. AS dim as a Tock H Lamp but twice as bright and loving every minute i will be there again or Tunisia
Its a game of two halves first to learn, second to get out there and do it.

Hi Zaphod, is that for off road use on private land or just green lanes. I had a few quotes that said off road cover but when I dug deeper it turned out it was only green lanes, which, as Gareth has confirmed, is standard from any insurance company. If it is off road cover, I'll definitely be getting a quote from them next time round. If you are annoying me, just remember it takes 42 muscles for me to frown and only 4 to extend my middle finger, and I'm lazy so don't be offended.

Adrian Flux 4WD wanted to charge me the earth for the D3 as it was valued at over £10k. NFU was also expensive, but I think it depends on where you live as I've never had a competetive quote from them, whilst others have

At the moment it seems a call to Adrian Flux is in order.
LR Ins wanted £957 - that's with max no claims, no convictions, no accidents and well over 40 years old....
There's extracting the urine and really extracting the urine.....
CY - good luck with NFU - the woman who took my call lives 9 (nine) miles from Glasgow, works for NFU and still got turned down for insurance with them!
I'm not too concerned about green laning as such but more events on private land - such as those organised by LRE Snowdonia - NU won't entertain these for a big clock.
Oh well - back to the beer.. 2005 D3 SE Auto - Zermatt / Ebony
1980 BMW R100RS - Blue
1980 Laverda Jota - BRIGHT Orange (and very LOUD)

Like I said, I'm with LR but it's half the price you have been quoted for the Mrs and me (her policy), both 36ish and both with business travel cover. If you are annoying me, just remember it takes 42 muscles for me to frown and only 4 to extend my middle finger, and I'm lazy so don't be offended.

I pay £724 with LRI just outside London ..fully comp (me & the wife), full business, protected no claims. (Down from £745 last year)
I have had one proper off-road embarrassment that cost well over £2k to repair ....the claim wasn't even questioned and very well handled. So ....whilst I still venture off the road for real, I won't be changing to anyone else anytime soon Powered by............................

That's the main reason why I went with LR, cos of the good reports on claims. There admin is not to good though, we've had to have 4 certificates sent through because they keep getting our details wrong. Snowy,
I gave them the example that "in my job I have to drive off road, so if i'm driving through a farmers field and put it on it's roof am I covered? - yes"
I had a lengthy conversation with them to ensure I was happy, but it seems right. So long as it's not racing or rallying, they were OK with it. Sail Fast - Live Slow...
