Does anyone know of a good independent LR specialist in the NE Derbyshire/Notts area has please? One that I have used for years hasn’t been particularly good recently, and I need what I believe is a suspension/bearing(?) issue sorting out.

You could try Colemans garage opposite Macarthur Glen outlet, not a specific LR specialist but knows the range really well.
Think I know which guy you have been using and sad to hear you say that. Not been to him for a couple of years since I moved on from LR but he was always excellent. 2011 D4 XS 305 MY12 - gone but not forgotten

Thanks RogB. No, it’s not who you’re thinking of. Richard stopped the service side of things a year or so ago to concentrate on restorations of Defenders I think. The place I mentioned is where I’d been going since Adam was a lad pre-Covid, and then returned to when Richard stopped.

ah thats good then, Richard is a lovely bloke and some his defenders Ive seen are amazing, especially the pre production ones hes had.
Matt who owns Colemans Garage is a top bloke, IMO they are probably the most trustworthy garage around here and ive used them for years with a variety of cars. They have done a lot of body off jobs on Discos and RRS over the years and will only use OEM quality or genuine parts that they source, although they did fit my advanced factors rear upper arms on my D4 as he knew me well enough. 2011 D4 XS 305 MY12 - gone but not forgotten
