Parking in Reims France

I am travelling to Reims in a few weeks and have been advised by hotel that the height limit for their underground car park is 1.90m. The hotel advises that the only alternative parking is in the street.....any advice other options...?

Merci

we stopped off in reims on the way back from the Alps this Easter, had never been before and just drove off the autoroute into town. There was loads of off street parking around the centre and it is free after 6pm (or thereabouts) and lots of sign posts to car parks. I think if you just turn up and follow your nose (and believe it or not, the Disco's Sat Nav was actually very useful as well, even though I have a 2-year old disk) I don't think you will have a problem.

Can seriously recommend Cafe du Pal which is a 1930's style restaurant diagonally opposite the theatre on the road not far from the cathedral. 100Euro for 4 of us for a main, desert, drinks and coffees and enough food of extremely high quality to fill you up in a place wtih a fantastic ambience and atmosphere.
