Picked up an 05SE auto yesterday.
Love the alpaca leather interior.
Had 16.5 avg mgp when i picked it up!
Drove it around 90 miles home using drive and liberal squirts of the loud pedal for overtaking, boy does that fat heavy girl shift!!!
MPG now sitting at 27 which I guess is around normal.
Now to get the torq tune sorted before she goes in to become a van.

Looks good as new. Still the best looking car on the road. Love the colour and tints to match.

had a trip to chester zoo the weekend, dialed in 80mph into the cruise control. Seems this is about tickover 2100rpm!.
Had a play with sand mode aka takeoff - damn this car is fast!
Easily the best car I've driven by a loooooong way.
Only gripe Ive had so far is sometimes the cruise control wont turn on, i have to stop and turn off the ignitoon and it seems to reset it.

There's a TSB about the CC problem - something about clock springs need replacing. If you're still under warranty then it should be done FOC. Only problem I've ever had and I put up with it for a year until the first service...... The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

I've just had my intermittent cruise fault fixed under warranty.
If yours is an 05 reg (like mine) it may be worth checking as soon as possible as your warranty is probably on the way out. Disco 3 TDV6 HSE

My cruise control set doesn't usually work, I have to use the + button instead, is this normal? Also a member of avforums.com

Yes you press the + button when you are at your desired speed.
Then if you cancel it and what to go back to your saved speed , you press the cruise control buton to resume.
If you stop at some services ..it loose's it memory and you would have to press the + button again JAVA BLACK SE , MANUAL , PRIVACY GLASS , EBONY LEATHER , COLOUR CODED PARTS , SIDE PROTECTION TUBES , HIDDEN WINCH (12000 LBS) , 19" HSE WHEELS.
