BFG/AT's

Help!
I read somewhere, that BFG are doing an A/t tyre that
will fit the D3 are they 17" or 18" ? and I read Ken's post
where he states he has spacers, do they not do one that will
fit without spacers?
I am running on 18"scorpions 26000mls from new and 2 thirds
through second set Big Cry

Do a lot of off road driving but only forrest tracks in Scotland
not the real hard stuff like a lot of you guys do, we use an Argo
for that.
Can anyone help please?
Paul Thumbs Up

As far as I rememer Chris100200 had the 265s on his 1st D3, they rubbed til the wheel arch plastic run out. ISTR that it was worse on road cornering but I may be wrong.

Anyone know if they plan on doing some for the 19" Question wheels, as I would certainly get some if they did Neutral

Thanks guys for all your comments, Ken without sounding
thick, do the spacers just stop the tyres from rubbing on
the suspension will they not still rub on the arches or will
you not know untill you try them? I would be interested to
know.

Thanks again Guy's. Thumbs Up

Hobgoblin I never mentioned 19" I thought with the
lower profile there would be no chance of them fitting.
It's a shame we cant fit 16", well I dont think you can,
I wonder if they would fit with spacers, then I suppose
finding wheels would be the problem.

How about a very large group buy from BFG do you
think they would produce a tyre just for the D3 Whistle

Embarassed Embarassed sorry about that mistake on the size Embarassed Embarassed

I have General Grabber AT2 255/60/R18 112H's fitted (no spacers) and can assure you that these don't rub anywhere on or off road.

I have the 265/65x18 on mine and only rub when in full articulation against the rear wheel, inner housing that covers the fuel line. Spacers are not needed and would cause more problems in the front wheel wells when in full turn.

See my photos.

Hi

I've had the BFG A/T's 265/65/18 on for about 8 months now and have had no rubbing off-road even with articulation ... least not that I could hear or see Shocked I'll double check that though.

It has made a massive difference to the vehicle off-road !
What do you mean it won't go there ?
