Looks like a good time guys
However, I understand from LARA/GLASS that a Voluntary Restraint order was placed on the Old Coach Road on April 1st which is 1 step down from a TRO but neverthelesss means it shouldn't have been driven.
If there are no signs etc to this effect then maybe it never happened??? I want to drive this in July when I'm on holiday in the lakes. Anyone know more? 2008 Defender 110 XS CSW

CFB. There are no local signs on the lane. There is nothing on the GLASS website either. How did you know this Andy?
I totally agree it should not be driven, but all I can find is an obscure posting on the LRO forum. Not very publicised. Silver TDV6 HSE

The more experienced among us should at least be helpful to those who are 'newbies' and then maybe the scenario above could have been avoided.
I think continually giving help and guidance whilst driving on the road would be a bit insulting to the other drivers Duncan

I think he was on MTRs, but the ground was a waterlogged peat bog, he wasnt going anywhere on any type of tyres. Duncan

Great Saturday spent with Rob and Bob. Was the first to get stuck on the now famous "evening on the mountain" - Not sure if it was reassuring that Ray Fell off on exactly the same bit as me later on.
Now my back hurts after pulling something on the drive home, or maybe it was putting all the mud, soil and turf back on Sunday morning.
Although I enjoyed the company in my group over the weekend I think we could have done with a navigation crew. Effectively we were three 1-man vehicles, so with hindsight were likely to make a wrong turn at some point.
Thanks RPJ for all the hard work and organisation. Hope the grass grows back on the field fairly soon and Mr Farmer has forgiven us all?

we apologised to the farmer for churning up his field just before we left. He didnt seem to fussed and said it would all be back to normal after a bit of sunshine (so should be ok around october time then ) Duncan
