I've done my back in again walking the dogs this morning so it might be a good idea to swap as I can't guarantee I'll be OK for Sat.

DiscoDunc wrote:sorry Nic i dont know much about radios but if you post the make and model someone may be able to let you know which of your channels corresponds to the Entel Channels.
If anyone can advise me the radios I have are Clarke two way radio's model no TR200. According to the manual which of course, I've only just read, they have 8 channels on the frequency range from 446.00625 to 446.09375. Thanks

What a great site this is
DiscoDunc for organising something like this for beginners - it would have really helped a new owner like me to get a taste for the D3 doing what it quite clearly is designed to do. Thanks
I would have loved to come but have to go to a wedding on that day Good friend of SWMBO so can't really miss it!! A Divorce on the same day as someone else's wedding not good!!!
Thanks for the offer & organising this. I hope I can join in with things in the future (might start gently and attend a pub meet first?) _________________ Over 1000 miles of trouble-free motoring......well almost

Shellshock, character there are a number of other events setup which would be good for beginners. There is a camping weekend at Boughrood where you could get some training from AndrewS - http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic21181.html?highlight=
Here you can try all sorts of terrain and at your own pace..
If you PM AndrewS he could probably accomodate you for the day if you dont want to camp _________________ Duncan

DiscoDunc many thanks for organising this day out for us beginners and to Buckingham for providing the rear guard. I thoroughly enjoyed the day even if I did get stuck and to be pulled out, but at least I wasn't the only one! Nice to meet you all and put names to faces.
Some pics of the day
Bu**er they closed the lane, which way do we go now
Who's towing who?
Which way out?
DiscoDunc: I will get through this
Buckingham: I will get through this
