Spent from 1982 to 1988 there, then moved back to Dorset. Did my O' and A' Levels at Bognor Comp, latterly rebranded Bognor Regis Community College then went on to work at Ford Airfield, working for Francis Concrete, part of Tarmac group Don't Panic! Everything will be fine.... inflation is only 2.5% 3.0% 3.3% and the flying pigs are carbon neutral

I shudder just thinking about Bognor these days. Dad had bought a place on the Aldwick Bay estate, a couple of doors away from the late Earl Spencer's weekend retreat. All very middle class, middle aged, middle of the road at 40mph.
Being an angst-ridden teenager at the time all I had to offer to the local denizens was my middle finger
Moving to Bournemouth when I was 18 was an eye-opener after all that beige Don't Panic! Everything will be fine.... inflation is only 2.5% 3.0% 3.3% and the flying pigs are carbon neutral

An eye opener?!! That must have been like being dumped into the Playboy mansion! Christ, to think I had to drive to Bournmouth from Southampton when I was 18! Ahh, them was the days. What was that giant club called? I remember getting home as the birds sang on many Sunday mornings. Normally, it wasn't the one with me at the time though!! Hang on, more like Don't be paranoid.........'They' don't like it!!!!!!!

Yes, that was it; The Venue! What a cracking night that used to be! And Clouds too! I've actually woken up on the beach once or twice during those crazy, hazy days in the summer of '89, 90, 91....What a crazy cheesy quaver I was. Don't be paranoid.........'They' don't like it!!!!!!!

Ah, the late 80s/early 90s
Sounds like you and I were going to the same places at around the same time. Shame most of my photo's from that time seem to have vanished Don't Panic! Everything will be fine.... inflation is only 2.5% 3.0% 3.3% and the flying pigs are carbon neutral
