Did my Geog exam today and following the "How not to answer exam questions"...
Anyway, there was question worded like this-
"Cutting down the rainforest in Brazil will affect the whole world more thanb it will affect Brazil itself."
(Statement by an environment spokesperson)
Look at the statement and diagram (haven't included) above.
Do you agree with the statement above? Give reasons for your answer.
This was a six mark question and I almost wrote-
No, he is an environmentalist! Happiness is a vectored thrust! (As seen on a Harrier GR3)
1980 Series 3 restoration - Mine
Very dirty 1996 Defender 90 - Soon to be mine!
Stornaway Grey D3 HSE - Dads!
Asure Blue S1 Lotus Elise - Also dads!
Relentless in one hand, Strongbow in the other!

so to get maximum marks, you have to agree?
Surely No is a valid answer, as long as you give your reasons for disagreeing, one of which could be that the opinion of the author is rubbish/deluded/plain wrong

I'd have given 7 marks for that answer!
My friend's a teacher and she showed me an answer from one of her Geog students
Q: Name a developing city in the Third World
A: Limerick
Are they final exams ? nerve wrecking no doubt - fair play

SQA (Scottish Qualifications Authority) had a major f k up with maths, the put two higher questions in the Standard Grade exams, one of which hasn't been asked in SG since 1994! Happiness is a vectored thrust! (As seen on a Harrier GR3)
