I have posted this before but am now getting really p****d off with the thing in my garage. The object in question is a Lintran dog box built for a D3. Seemed like a good idea at he time, but reality called and I now have a Defender for the dogs, no reasonable offer refused, | just want rid!!!

Very interested. How big it it? Does it have a divider?
At the moment have a Guardsman dog cage which is rattling me silly.

Hi John,
No divider but I am sure lintran could make one, I have three working cockers so it's not exactly small. was originally built to sit on top of an 8" gun box. 2 doors so the divider won't be a problem, cost me around £350, would accept half of that. Oh and it doesn't rattle!! PM me your e-mail and I'll send pictures.
Thanks, Simon

djangonut, I've got the Lintran box and it is massive. We can fit 3 flat coated retrievers in it. Pictures of the box here:

Lintran can put a divider in it if you want at £55, although I do not know if this is retro fit. Contact them here:

We looked at every box/cage on the market and the Lintran to me was the best by far. Only downside is it is very heavy to get in and out of the D3 on my own but I can just about do it. If you are annoying me, just remember it takes 42 muscles for me to frown and only 4 to extend my middle finger, and I'm lazy so don't be offended.

Or 6 whippets at a push, I have a DB10. I wouldn't call them heavy though, awkward for one more like. Definitely no rattles and no dirt either. They are usually snapped up second hand. We sold our last freelander one for about £200. DS3 TDV6 HSE

It's the same as the one in snowy's gallery but it doesn't have the fixed mesh panel above the doors so is therefore about 8"lower, will hold three working cockers and a very old and grumpy weimeraner!!!!
Best, Simon
