Try any Hi-Q. They were freely available in March in Durban at about R2900, though I'm not sure on the current status.

If I could find any in stock, I actually wouldn't mind paying that - I have no choice! My problem is that I can't fit anything smaller than 19" rims (apart from the Compomotive 18" PD1880 FIA spec rims, which have to be imported etc etc). I wish some other companies would make an A/T or M/T tyre in 19" to give some competition to Goodyear.

Jonty - where're you at . I found some for a friend of mine at Auto Sport in Midrand. I think they where about R4300 though

Heine - are you refering to a set of 18" rims for R4300 or have i missed something?

Hilton - no - 19 " tyres . You won't find 18 " rims with the correct load rating anywhere other than LR and they are now up to about 9 k each .
