Hi folks, here is some info about the new SC80-LR Plug-&-Play + LR-FPC ( Full Power Cable ) kit.
This new kit is not on my web site yet and is a more cost effective alternative to buying and installing both the LR-HCE and TPSE kits.
The kit has everything in it to be able to run battery charging cable to the rear of a D3, to charge an auxiliary battery in a caravan, camper trailer or float and comes with an additional 50 amp Anderson plug to make the connection between the D3 and tow vehicle.
The kit also has everything needed to install two 16 amp cigarette light type power sockets in the rear cargo area.
All the cabling in the engine bay has already been pre assembled to make the engine bay section of the installation very quick, simple and easy.
The installation instructions are supplied on a CD that describes everything needed to set up the engine bay and how to run the cable through the D3, including info on how to remove what panels and has a large number of pictures to make the installation as painless as possible.
The kit has addition components supplied with it to allow the second Anderson plug, if not required to be used on a tow vehicle, can be installed under the bonnet to supply a high current connection for an air compressor or what ever.
The diagram below will give you an idea of what the FPC kit can do and the kit has everything needed to carryout a safe and complete professional style installation. All you need are some basic tools and some electrical tape.

D3 Courier Service Required...
OK, so we've done the easy bit, now we need to sort out the logistics....
TFC has all the batteries & will be going to Ken's next Monday, potentially to drop off some of the southern batteries.
Nick has the clamps & can take to the Yeovil Area Meet next Tuesday. Is anyone from the Yeovil Meet, going north or meeting up with TFC later next week?
Gilmore will collect battery from TFC for myself & hopefully will pick up some of the Traxide Units from me
Bodsy - Shropshire/Midlands - Battery/Traxide sorted, Awaiting Clamp
RichieP - Reading - Awaiting Battery/Traxide/Clamp
whatgoeshere - Reading - Awaiting Battery/Traxide/Clamp
Bornslippy - southampton- Awaiting Battery/Traxide/Clamp
MW - Huntingdon- Awaiting Battery/Traxide/Clamp
Pegleg - North Cambs - Awaiting Battery/Traxide/Clamp
Gilmore - Derby - Close to TFC, - Battery/Traxide sorted, Awaiting Clamp
Donald - Inverness - Will post , sorted
Ent - Accrington- Awaiting Battery/Traxide/Clamp
Pikey - Durham City- Awaiting Battery/Traxide/Clamp
Kevin-t - Sheffield- Awaiting Battery/Traxide/Clamp
AndrewW - Oldham- Awaiting Battery/Traxide/Clamp
Tintenter - Oldham- Awaiting Battery/Traxide/Clamp
Meets that I know of for potential swap over (depending on receipt date for Traxide units)
3rd June - Yeovil Meet (for Clamps from Nick)
7th June - Me and Gilmor fitting (hopefully) traxide units & Battery
8th June - Tong
9th June Northern Meet
24th June Southern Meet
SOOOOO, Who can help & who's going to which meeting so we can try to get this sorted for everyone
They've just called my plane, so could I ask someone to post this in the relevant meet sections and also in the D3 courier services section....

I will be going to the Billing (19th/20th July) and Salisbury (2nd/3rd August) Disco3 events so can deliver stuff to any people who will be there. Ent's going to Billing and I'm giving him his stuff there.
Alternatively I live near Nottingham so anyone in my neck of the woods can get their gear from my place after 7th June.
Anyone want to take up any of these options?
cheers

I was supposed to be in Yeovil this week, but the meeting got canned, should be in that area second week in June so worst case I could collect the thames valley clamps then...
Also if nothing works out I could come north to get the battery, although if they can get any further south than you Ian that would help!
EDIT: Also not going to be at Billing, as wife booked summer holiday that weekend before I realised, doh.
